How do I change my arranged overdraft limit?

You can contact us to decrease or remove your existing arranged overdraft limit. From 24 November 2025, we no longer offer new arranged overdrafts or increases to existing arranged overdraft limits.
Decreasing or removing your arranged overdraft limit
Contact us by secure message, phone or by visiting a branch, tell us which account your arranged overdraft is linked to and whether you want to decrease the limit or remove it.

Interest rates for arranged overdrafts
- An arranged overdraft lets you overdraw your account up to an approved limit.
- The unsecured interest rate applies to any overdrawn balance within your approved overdraft limit.
- If you go over your approved limit, the unarranged overdraft interest rate applies to the amount above your limit.
- If you do not have an arranged overdraft, the unarranged overdraft interest rate applies to any overdrawn balance.
