How do I change my credit card limit?

To change your credit card limit, contact us by secure message, phone or visiting a branch. We’ll let you know what information we need and whether your request is approved.

What to know before changing your credit card limit
Before you contact us, check your current balance and think about the limit you want. This can help us process your request more easily.
- We’ll check your request against ASB lending criteria before we approve it.
- If you want to reduce your limit, the new limit can’t be lower than your current balance or the minimum limit for your credit card type.
- If you decrease your limit, you may not be able to increase it again.
