How do I view, change or delete a Bill Payee in FastNet Classic internet banking or the ASB Mobile Banking app?

You can change the Particulars, Code or Reference for a Bill Payee in FastNet Classic. To change the account you pay from, the payee name or payee account number, you'll need to delete the bill payee via FastNet Classic or the ASB Mobile app and create a new payee with the updated details.

To view or change the Particulars, Code or Reference details via FastNet Classic:

  1. Log into FastNet Classic.
  2. Open 'Payments' in the menu.
  3. Select 'Bill Payments'.
  4. Select the nominated bank account you wish to view or alter.
  5. Select the 'View/Edit/Delete' button.
  6. Select the Payee Name you wish to view or alter to show the Edit Payee screen.
  7. Edit the details of your payee then select the 'Edit' button.
  8. Complete the change by selecting the 'Yes' button in the 'Are you sure you want to do this?' section.

To delete a Bill Payee via FastNet Classic:

  1. Log into Fastnet Classic.
  2. Open 'Payments' in the menu.
  3. Select 'Bill Payments'.
  4. Select the nominated bank account you wish to delete the bill payment from.
  5. Select the 'View/Edit/Delete' button.
  6. Select the Payee Name you wish to delete.
  7. Select the 'Delete' button.
  8. Delete the payee by selecting the 'Yes' button in the 'Are you sure you want to do this?' section.

To delete a Bill Payee via the ASB Mobile app:

  1. Log in to the ASB Mobile app
  2. From the menu, tap 'Payments'.
  3. Tap 'Make a Payment'.
  4. You may be asked to enter your PIN to continue.
  5. Tap 'Payee' the second field on the page.
  6. Find the payee you wish to delete.
  7. On iOS, swipe the payee and select delete.
  8. On Android, long-press the payee and select OK in the confirmation pop-up.
