Last Updated: 04 Dec 2025
To save time when making payments or transfers using FastNet Classic internet banking or the ASB Mobile Banking app, you can choose a default account. This account will be automatically selected as your 'from account', but you can change it at any time.
ASB Mobile app:
- Log in to the ASB Mobile app.
- Tap the profile icon in the top left corner of the ‘Accounts’ screen.
- Tap ‘Settings’, find ‘Personalise’ and tap ‘Default account’.
- Select your preferred default account.
Please note: updating your default account in the ASB Mobile app will also update it in FastNet Classic.
FastNet Classic:
- Log in to your FastNet Classic account.
- Click on 'Settings' in the top right of the page.
- Select ‘Set default account’.
- Select your preferred default account.
- Click ‘Save’.
Please note: updating your default account in FastNet Classic will also update it in the ASB Mobile app.
