Why am I receiving a ‘Could not load the ASB Mobile Banking app’ error for Open Banking authorisations when I already have the app installed?
Last Updated: 09 Jun 2025
There are a few reasons you could be experiencing this error. You’ll need to investigate your own phone browser settings (e.g. Chrome, Safari, Samsung) or phone settings, but some tips could include:
- Ensure your browser on your phone is set up to open links/other apps.
- Your Samsung browser may not accept the opening of http/https links. Please try another browser.
- On your Samsung device check the following settings by following these steps:
- Apps
- Choose default apps
- Opening links
- ASB Mobile
- Check that ‘Open supported links’ is ‘on’
