How do I register for two-step verification using the ASB Mobile Banking app?
You will be able to complete two-step verification using the ASB Mobile Banking app for logging in to FastNet Classic if you meet the eligibility criteria.
To verify that you are eligible:
- You should ensure you have the latest version of the ASB Mobile Banking app to ensure compatibility with two-step verification. See How do I update the ASB Mobile Banking app?
- You must be registered for Netcode. See How do I register for Netcode?
- Your ASB Mobile Banking app must be Netcode verified.
To check if your app is Netcode verified, follow these steps below:
- Log in to the ASB Mobile Banking app.
- Select ‘More’ in the bottom right-hand corner.
- Select ‘Settings’.
- Select ‘Security’.
If your app is Netcode verified, it will show ‘ON’ next to ‘Netcode verified’.
If your app is not Netcode verified, it will show ‘OFF’. Tap on this to begin the Netcode verification process.
You should ensure that push notifications are enabled in your device settings. To check if your device has push notifications enabled, follow these steps below:
For iOS:
- Open the ‘Settings’ app.
- Scroll to ‘ASB Mobile’.
- Select ‘Notifications’.
- Ensure ‘Allow notifications’ is enabled.
For Android:
- Open the ‘Settings’ app.
- Select ‘Notifications’.
- Select ‘ASB Mobile’.
- Swipe right on the toggle bar to enable notifications.
