How do I rename my accounts in FastNet Classic internet banking and the ASB Mobile Banking app so they are personal to me?

You can personalise your bank account names via FastNet Classic internet banking and the ASB Mobile Banking app. For example, you could call your FastSaver 'Car Savings', or set up a dedicated 'Travel Fund'.

Here’s how:

FastNet Classic internet banking

There are a few different ways you can do this:

  1. On the account page, click on ‘Organise’ on the top of the accounts. Click ‘Personalise account’, select which account you wish to rename then update the name in the field labelled 'Account name'. 
  2. Click on the Profile menu in the top right corner (look for your name). Select 'Personalise accounts' and change any account names in the list of accounts.

ASB Mobile Banking app

There are a few different ways you can do this:

  1. Choose the account that you want to rename. In the summary screen, either long-press the account, or click More Options or the three-dot menu icon. Then select Rename account.
  2. Go to Settings, then choose Personalise. Select Rename accounts and choose the account you want to rename.
  3. In the account balances screen, click on the edit pencil icon. Select Rename accounts and choose the account you want to rename.

Please note, your updated account names will not be displayed on your printed statements.
