Can I transfer an amount from my account which is greater than my FastNet Classic or ASB Mobile app daily limit?
For payments made through FastNet Classic internet banking and the ASB Mobile app, the daily limit excludes transfers between your own ASB accounts, to most Registered payees (e.g. Spark / Vodafone) or to bill payees loaded for you by an ASB staff member. For the payments excluded from the limit you can make them for any amount you wish.
If you are making a transfer involving a Foreign Currency account, the daily limit does not apply during processing hours (9am to 4pm NZT, Mon-Fri). However, if you make a transfer involving a Foreign Currency account outside of processing hours, or on a currency holiday, an after-hours daily limit of $100k will apply. Please note, the daily limit applies to all International Money Transfers, both during and outside processing hours.
A full list of currency holidays is available.
In order for you to make a transfer that exceeds your daily limit, please contact us on 0800 803 804, or if you are calling from overseas + 64 9 306 3000, and we can assist you. If you’re an organisation needing to make payments greater than $100,000, find out more about FastNet Business.
