How do I manage my Netcode registered mobile phone number?
Last Updated: 04 Dec 2025
You can check the mobile phone number you have registered for Netcode under your Personal Profile in the ASB Mobile Banking app or FastNet Classic intenet banking. If you change your mobile number, then your Netcode will also have to be updated so that we can send it to your new number. Here’s how:
ASB Mobile app:
- Log in to the ASB Mobile app.
- Tap the profile icon in the top left corner of the ‘Accounts’ screen.
- Select ‘Mobile numbers’ to update the number we send the Netcode verification to.
- Tap ‘Save’.
FastNet Classic:
- Log in to your FastNet Classic account.
- Click on 'Settings' in the top right of the page.
- Click on ‘Personal profile’.
- Select ‘Contact numbers’.
- Check and if required, edit the number we send the Netcode verification to.
- Click 'Verify mobile'.
Alternatively, you can call us on 0800 327 863, or if you're overseas on +64 9 306 3000 Mon - Fri 8:00am 8:00pm, or 8:30am and 5:00pm Sat, Sun & public holidays. We'll ask you some security questions to establish it's you and update your details so you can receive Netcode on your new number.
Or visit any ASB branch, and the staff will be happy to help you.
