How do I change the type of ASB credit card I have?

You can apply to change your ASB credit card using either the ASB Mobile Banking app or FastNet Classic internet banking.
To change your card in the ASB Mobile app:
- First, log in and select More at the bottom of the screen.
- Next, select the Apply tab.
- Then, select Credit and debit cards under Open and apply.
- After that, select Next under Change card type.
- Finally, follow the instructions to request the change.
To change your card in FastNet Classic:
- First, log in and select Menu on the top left of the accounts page.
- Next, select Cards.
- Then, select Change card type.
- After that, follow the instructions to request the change.
After you receive your new ASB Visa credit card and successfully set your PIN:
- Any balance on your previous card will be transferred to your new card automatically.
- Your old credit card account will be closed overnight.
For joint accounts or an account with an additional card, the first cardholder to activate the complete the PIN activation process will close your old card account.
If the new card is not pinned within 25 days ASB will:
- Transfer any remaining balance.
- Close the old credit card account.
- If you use your card for regular payments, you’ll need to update those providers with your new card details.
To view past transactions on your old card:
- First, log in to FastNet Classic.
- Next, select your credit card.
- Then, select the Search & Export tab.
- After that, choose the date range you need. Then, Export as to select the export format.
