ASB has supported Starship since 1991.
As New Zealand’s national children’s hospital, Starship treats more than 120,000 young patients each year from every town and city in New Zealand. It also operates an air ambulance.
Over the past 25 years, staff and customers of ASB have helped to raised significant funds for Starship, benefitting almost every area of the hospital – from ASB Mobile Ear Clinics to improvements to the Children’s Emergency Department.
We hope to raise $50,000 that can be put towards the revamp of the Starship Children’s Emergency Department waiting area. This money will be used to redesign this area with more comfortable seating for children and their families and to help provide entertainment and distraction during a challenging time.
