New to ASB? Before you can join the ASB KiwiSaver Scheme, you'll need to open an ASB Everyday account, it has zero monthly base and transaction fees.

As part of setting up your ASB Everyday account, you'll need to verify your identity.
The fastest way to do this is using the ASB ID app with an eligible e‑passport or New Zealand driver licence. The app guides you through a face scan and also lets you verify your address.
Prefer to do this in person? Call us on 0800 272 738 to make an appointment at your nearest branch. You'll need to bring identification and proof of address. In some cases, you may also be asked for additional supporting information, so check the identification requirements before you go.
If you're already an ASB customer, or have set up your ASB Everyday account and verified your identity, you can open an ASB KiwiSaver Scheme account in ASB FastNet Classic or the ASB Mobile app.
If you're switching from another provider, we'll take care of transferring your balance. This usually takes about 10 working days.
