How to apply
1. Check eligibility
You must be a New Zealand citizen or permanent resident who normally lives in New Zealand. Applying for someone under 18? Call 0800 272 738 for help.
2. Get your info ready
Have your address, contact details, and IRD number ready. You may also need an eligible e-passport or New Zealand driver licence to verify your identity.
3. Open an ASB bank account
If you're new to ASB, join us online in minutes. We'll set you up with an Everyday Account and FastNet Classic internet banking. If you have any existing account, you can skip this step.
4. Open your ASB KiwiSaver Scheme account
Once you're set up, join the ASB KiwiSaver scheme through FastNet Classic or the ASB Mobile Banking App. Not sure which fund to choose? Our guided tool can help. Switching providers? After you join we'll transfer your balance.
