What is reCAPTCHA and why am I seeing the reCAPTCHA logo when I try to log into FastNet Classic internet banking or Online Share Trading?

reCAPTCHA is a commonly used Google based verification tool. It protects ASB's online website from automated malicious software, while letting real customers pass through with ease.
Occasionally, invisible reCAPTCHA will verify you as part of the FastNet Classic and / or Online Share Trading login process. We continuously review our security and introduced the reCAPTCHA process as part of this.
