True Rewards dollars will expire once they reach the 5th year from when they were earned. As you redeem True Rewards dollars, the oldest ones will be used first.
If you have True Rewards dollars due to expire soon, we will communicate directly with you as a reminder to redeem your True Rewards dollars.
To make it easy for our customers, we are looking to align how points will be distributed for our two credit card rewards offerings (True Rewards and Everyday Rewards). This means that customers switching between our rewards options can do so without having their accumulated points impacted.
From 1 February 2024, your True Rewards balance will be updated monthly based on your credit card statement period. The first True Rewards update in February 2024 will be a partial month, including all successful transactions from 1 February 2024 until the end of your monthly credit card statement period. Your True Rewards balance will take up to 2 days to process from the end of your credit card statement period.
Only transactions successfully cleared at the time of processing will be included in that month's True Rewards calculation. All pending transactions at the time of processing will not be included.

New World & True Rewards Prize Draw Terms and Conditions
1.To be eligible for the prize draw you must have an active ASB Visa Rewards and/or ASB Visa Platinum Rewards credit card with True Rewards selected as your rewards programme on 31 May 2025. You must pay with True Reward dollars at any New World store nationwide between 1 May 2025 to 31 May 2025. Entrants in the prize draw can have multiple entries but are limited to one per day.
2. True Rewards Business customers are ineligible for the prize draw.
3. There are three prizes of $10,000 in New World gift cards. The prize is not transferable or redeemable for cash. Prizes are limited to one per person. The prize will be issued in ten $1,000 New World gift cards and will be activated from 16 June 2025. The gift cards have an expiry of 2 years, and any balance that remain on the card after expiry will not be available for use.
4. All eligible entries will go into a prize draw which will be randomly drawn on Thursday 12 June 2025.
5. The prize winners will be contacted between 16 June 2025 and 18 June 2025.
6. In the event a prize winner is not able to be contacted by 18 June 2025, the prize will be redrawn on Thursday 19 June 2025, on the same terms as the original draw.
7. The judge’s decision and the prize results are final, and no correspondence will be entered into. ASB and Foodstuffs (N.Z) Limited (“Foodstuffs”) reserves the right to remove any person from the prize draw for any reason including, but not limited to, where the conditions for entry have not been met.
8. Delivery of the prize must be to a New Zealand residential address. ASB will make best endeavours to arrange delivery to the address. ASB and Foodstuffs are not liable for lost or stolen prizes, or where the delivery is unable to be completed to the address for any reason.
9. All personal information collected by ASB is for the purpose of this competition. This information will be held by ASB, PO Box 35, Auckland 1140 and entrants have rights of access to and correction of their information.
10. By accepting the prize, the prize winner agrees to participate in any publicity arrangements that ASB and Foodstuffs may reasonably require in relation to this competition.
11. Employees of ASB and its related companies, their spouse (either married or de facto) and their dependents (children and/or parents living with them) are not eligible to participate in this prize draw.
12. ASB and Foodstuffs reserves the right to vary, suspend or terminate the prize draw at any time.
13.
