How it works
As an ASB Securities client, we make it easy for you to invest in IPOs or new issues - even if you've never done it before.
- Sign up to receive new offer updates as they become available, by emailing asbsecinfo@asb.co.nz – you’ll be one of the first to know when ASB Securities is participating in a new issue or initial public offer (IPO).
- Contact us to find out more about an offer you are interested in. We’ll then provide you with the relevant information as soon as it’s made public.
- If you would like to participate in an offer you will need to confirm your level of interest so ASB Securities can bid on your behalf.
- If you are successful in receiving an allocation,we will be in contact to confirm the amount and walk you through the final steps.
- Once the allocation is completed, your investment can then be bought and sold on the secondary market.

Brokerage fee
Brokerage may be charged on allocations. We will advise you of any brokerage fees (if applicable) at the time you request more information on each individual offer.
ASB Securities may receive a fee from the issuer for the allocation we receive.
