ASB Cash Management Account

The ASB Cash Management Account is a bank account designed to settle your trades easily. We’ll open an account for you when you register for share trading with ASB Securities.

Benefits at a glance

  • Your money is on call – there when you need it
  • Share trading funds are kept separate from other banking – making it easier for you to do your end-of-year accounts
  • Funds are available the moment they’re transferred from another ASB account
  • Free to open, with no monthly fees
  • Access your account anywhere through Online Share Trading, FastNet Classic internet banking and the ASB Mobile app
  • If you are registered for FastNet Classic, account statements are available online anytime

How it works

When you register for share trading with ASB Securities, we’ll open an ASB Cash Management Account for you. This will be your default account for settling your trades, which means whenever you buy or sell shares, funds will be automatically debited from, or credited to, your account.

You can use your ASB Cash Management Account to trade in any market, but if you trade regularly in an overseas market it may be more convenient to settle your trades using an ASB Foreign Currency Account for share trading.

ASB Cash Management and ASB Foreign Currency for share trading accounts are the only accounts you can use to settle your trades when trading through ASB Securities.
