Niamh Barnett

Rural Relationship Manager

Niamh grew up on a sheep and beef farm in Dannevirke, where her family continues to farm today. She holds a Bachelor of Agriculture from Lincoln University, with a semester abroad at Wageningen University and Research in the Netherlands.

Throughout her career, Niamh has gained diverse experience in the agriculture industry, working across live export, as well as sheep, beef, and dairy farms throughout New Zealand. This broad knowledge has allowed her to understand various sectors within the industry.

Niamh's banking career has always been with ASB, where she has worked in Northland and Waikato. She is currently a Relationship Manager based in Gore, Southland. With a deep passion for the Food and Fiber sector, Niamh is dedicated to helping farmers achieve their goals at every stage of their journey.
