With over 21 years’ experience in the Financial Services Industry, Carla has dedicated the majority of that to the Banking and Rural sector with last 6 years as Area Manager for FMG in Southland.
Carla has experience in governance, a Board Member for Southland Business Chamber from 2019-2023, then 18 months as the Intern Director for South Port Limited, then a 12-month Intern Director role with SBS Wealth.
She was awarded the Institute of Directors (IOD) Emerging Director Award in 2024 for Otago/Southland.
In 2022 she completed the Agri Women’s Development Trust (AWDT) Escalator programme.
From a community level, since 2023 she has been an Iwi Community Panel member for Te Pae Oranga (Restorative Justice) and since 2024 has been a Local Advisory Committee Member for Fire and Emergency New Zealand (FENZ).
