Why is the balance on Clever Kash different to the balance in my child’s account?
Last Updated: 28 Jun 2017
Clever Kash does not automatically update when a deposit has been made into your child’s ASB savings account. This is why the balance on Clever Kash’s tummy can be different to the balance of your child’s ASB savings account that is linked to Clever Kash.
The reason why it doesn’t automatically update is because we want you (the parent/guardian) to sit with your child each time you update Clever Kash – so that each update is an opportunity to teach your children about money and savings. To make sure the balance does not get out of date, it is good to update Clever Kash regularly.
