ASB KiwiSaver makes clean sweep in Canstar's annual KiwiSaver review
ASB has been recognised for excellence in the funds management industry, achieving five-star ratings across all our KiwiSaver funds in the annual KiwiSaver review by independent ratings agency Canstar.
ASB KiwiSaver Scheme - Balanced Fund, ASB KiwiSaver Scheme - Moderate Fund, ASB KiwiSaver Scheme - NZ Cash Fund and ASB KiwiSaver Scheme - Conservative Fund each received five-star ratings and the Outstanding Value Canstar award.
The latest Canstar ratings were announced on Thursday, September 21 and make ASB the most five-star awarded KiwiSaver provider since 2011.
ASB general manager wealth Jonathan Beale says ASB is thrilled to be recognised for outstanding value across all its funds.
"Balancing outstanding performance, low fees and features that customers want has been a real focus for ASB. The Canstar methodology provides great insight for customers to understand how their scheme is rated and differentiates us from others in the market," Beale says.
"The recent Canstar awards reflect ASB's ongoing focus to help our customers stay one step ahead."
Each year Canstar reviews and rates a number of Kiwisaver products. For 2017, 129 products (across six fund profiles including: aggressive, growth, balanced, conservative, defensive and cash) from 16 providers were compared on costs, features and performance. Canstar's five-star rated products represent a high-value product, and, according to Canstar ratings, these are the top 10% of products in their field.
The latest Canstar ratings follow ASB receiving the premier Platinum rating from SuperRatings, which assessed 29 NZ KiwiSaver products against its SuperRatings proposition of 'value for money' for scheme members.
