ASB are proud to support the EY Entrepreneur of the Year Awards for the 7th year in a row, recognising and contributing to the development of this country’s current and future business leaders. 

Last night, members of New Zealand’s business community came together for the announcement of this year’s sixteen finalists across five categories.

2018 EY Entrepreneur Of The Year finalists:

·        Anne Fulton and Jo Mills of Fuel50  

·        Craig Piggott of Halter

·        Maree Gladding and Jessie Stanley of I Love Ltd.

·        Chin Abeywickrama of Netlogix

·        Breccan McLeod-Lundy of Rabid Technologies

·        Scottie Chapman of Spring Sheep Company

·        Grant & Merryn Straker of Straker Translations

·        Dan Fowlie of Trineo

·        Nick Mowbray of Zuru Toys

The 2018 award categories are:

·        Services: Providers of professional services (e.g., financial, engineering, architecture, real estate, property, recreation and leisure)

·        Technology & Emerging: Software, hardware, telecommunications, digital media, biotechnology and health sciences

·        Young: Entrepreneurs 35 years or younger across all industries (as at 22 June 2018)

·        Products: Retailers, wholesalers and manufacturers of products from all industries

·        Master Entrepreneur: for leaders of well-established businesses which have a significant commitment to entrepreneurship

Those who participate in the program experience invaluable networking and business opportunities, alongside the chance to further their business development.

The winners of each category will be announced in September, with the overall New Zealand Entrepreneur of the Year for 2018 announced at the awards evening the next night. The overall winner will represent New Zealand at EY’s World Entrepreneur Of The Year event in Monaco in June 2019 where 150 cities across 60 countries participate with each national winner representing their country.
