Why was my application for COVID-19 support declined?
Last Updated: 28 Apr 2020
To access our COVID-19 support packages you need to meet the eligibility criteria.
This includes looking at your:
- Savings history – regular saving shows you can meet extra expenses
- Account operation – staying within your limits shows you can manage money
- Credit history – a clear credit history is essential when applying for finance
If your application has been declined you may not have met our COVID-19 support criteria, or one or more of these considerations might have affected your application.
You may be eligible for Government support. Please go to covid19.govt.nz/financial-support for further details.
