Why is there a limit to the number of devices that I can register the ASB Mobile Banking app on at any one time?
Last Updated: 04 Dec 2025
It's a security consideration. ASB Mobile requires Netcode at registration, not for subsequent payments, so we encourage customers to actively manage the number of registered mobile devices via the ASB Mobile app or FastNet Classic internet banking.
ASB Mobile app:
- Log in to the ASB Mobile app.
- Tap the profile icon in the top left corner of the ‘Accounts’ screen.
- Tap ‘Settings’, and under ‘Devices’ select ‘Manage devices’.
- Select the device you wish to deregister and tap 'Remove device'.
FastNet Classic:
- Log in to your FastNet Classic account.
- Click on 'Settings' in the top right of the page.
- Click on ‘Manage devices’.
- Select the device you wish to deregister and click 'Remove device'.
- Click 'Remove' to confirm.
This will allow you to register a new device to your account.
