Why do I need Google Pay for my FitBit?

From 15 November 2022, Google Wallet will replace Fitbit Pay on Fitbit Sense 2 and Fitbit Versa 4 devices.
Getting started with Google Wallet on Sense 2 and Versa 4 is simple:
- Open the Google Wallet app on your watch and tap 'Get started'.
- Then, open the Fitbit app on your phone and follow the instructions.
- Access your card in the Google Wallet app on your wrist for a speedy and secure checkout.
