I'm looking at ASB Home Insurance, what are Special Features?
Special Features are items that may form part of the infrastructure around your home, but are not automatically covered under your ASB Home Insurance policy, such as:
- Private utility plants and associated equipment including but not limited to wind or water mills or diesel generators.
- A cable car and its attached associated equipment.
- A bridge or culvert, permanent ford or dam.
- A wharf, pier, landing or jetty.
You can arrange cover for the Special Features mentioned above, simply ask us about Special Features when organising your insurance. You will need to specify your Special Features on your policy schedule with the estimated rebuild or replacement value.
