How do I know if my International Money Transfer (IMT) has been received by the beneficiary bank?
Last Updated: 28 Jul 2023
We will transfer the funds the same day if the instruction is received by ASB before 3.00pm on a business day (Monday to Friday excluding public holidays), otherwise it will be sent the next business day.
However, how quickly the payment reaches the beneficiary is determined by how quickly the beneficiary’s bank (and any intermediary banks) process the payment instruction and unfortunately this is beyond ASB’s control.
If you are concerned that the payment has been unduly delayed, you can request for the funds to be traced by ASB (note, this will usually involve a cost). If you wish to do this, please call the ASB contact centre on 0800 803 804 or visit your nearest branch.
