How do I disable/turn off the contactless option on my card?

If you have a Visa credit or debit card and the ASB Mobile Banking app, you can turn off Visa payWave transactions using ASB Card Control.
If you have a MasterCard card, contactless is a permanent feature of your card and can’t be disabled. You can still insert your credit card just as you always have if you don't want to make a purchase using contactless.
