It’s important to consider why you are withdrawing your funds and if this is part of your overall investment plan and not simply a response to market volatility.
If you've chosen the right fund for your investment plan, then you shouldn’t need to make any changes. Ups and downs in the value of your investment are expected, and withdrawing in response to market movements can mean that losses in value are locked in. On the other hand, if you do have a change in circumstance where you need to withdraw your funds, we’re here to help and you can start by following the process below.
If you have decided to withdraw your funds from your ASB Investment Funds investment, the process is as follows:
Call us on 0800 803 804 or email invest@asb.co.nz to request a withdrawal from your ASB Investment Funds account.
We’ll supply you with the withdrawal form specific to your needs. If necessary, you may be directed to speak to your Wealth Manager regarding the impact withdrawing may have on your plan.
You complete the withdrawal form and return it to us via invest@asb.co.nz
We will verify your details and if approved, your withdrawal will be paid into your account within 7 working days.
