What is the minimum parcel of shares I can buy if I'm sharetrading through ASB Securities?

Last Updated: 16 Apr 2014

If you wish to buy shares and you are not already a shareholder in that company, you’ll need to buy a minimum number of shares. If you own the minimum holding already, then you can purchase any amount. The New Zealand Exchange (NZX) and the Australian Stock Exchange (ASX) have different rules with regard to minimum holdings. If you need information regarding minimum order size, please go to the minimum requirements page or call us on 0800 272 732 or 0064 9 448 8120 from overseas, or email asbsecinfo@asb.co.nz.
