Find out how useful a Cash Passport card could be when you’re overseas.
The Multi-currency Cash Passport card is great if you travel. It saves you having to pay conversion costs or worry about the exchange rate you’re getting at the time of a transaction, as you know the rate each time you load your card. Cash Passport is easy to top up online through FastNet Classic internet banking and is a safer and more secure option than holding large amounts of foreign cash.
If you bank with us, call into any ASB branch before you travel and simply ask to purchase a Cash Passport. We can sort it out for you on the spot and, if you choose, we can also help you load it up with up to nine different currencies, including NZD, AUD, EUR, USD, GBP, JPY, CAD, HKD and SGD.
If you prefer, you can load your money later using the Cash Passport My Account online service. This is also the place to go to check your balance, view your recent transactions and more.
By loading money onto your card and into your chosen currency, you'll lock in the Cash Passport exchange rate. This can make budgeting while you travel or shop online much easier.
To keep you safe, your Cash Passport is protected by CHIP + PIN technology with an added signature panel on the back. You'll get a backup card for emergencies and complimentary 24/7 global emergency assistance.
Cash Passport is accepted anywhere you see a MasterCard logo - online or in-store. You can also withdraw local cash from any ATM that accepts MasterCard.
ASB’s terms apply. The Multi-currency Cash Passport™ (“Cash Passport”) is an unsecured debt security issued by Travelex Card Services Limited, a member of the Travelex group.
