How we can support you
ASB has been appointed to the Payment Services and Card Services Provider Panels for New Zealand Government agencies. This enables you to choose ASB for your merchant services and credit card needs, under the favourable terms of the All of Government banking contract.
Payment services
ASB can provide a merchant facility for accepting credit card, debit card and EFTPOS payments – we’ll settle funds on the same day the payment is made, no matter who you bank with. We work with all major terminal vendors and payment gateway providers in the New Zealand market. So whether you need to accept card payments in person, online or via the phone, we can help put together a solution that works best for you.
Card services
Reduce your administration load with ASB's online credit card and expense management tools. Our Card Manager tools let you issue and cancel cards to staff members and set their limits and spending rules. Your employees can temporarily lock their card with the free ASB mobile app, and our expense management tools streamlines expense processing. Every Government agency can use ASB for card services.
Additional services
In addition to the banking services covered by the MBIE All of Government contract, non-mandated agencies can call on ASB for other banking services as well, including transaction banking and foreign exchange.
Dedicated support
Our Government Banking team is made up of dedicated Relationship Managers and School Relationship Managers with deep knowledge and expertise of Government, education and public sector business. They are supported by Transition Managers, Integration Managers and various product and innovation specialists. This experience and capability means we can cater for wide-ranging agency requirements, enabling us to tailor our services to your operational and strategic priorities.
Transitioning to ASB
