Clever Kash: a new cashless moneybox for kids

09 September 2015 / Published in News & Stories

We’re excited to unveil Clever Kash – a new moneybox to help teach Kiwi kids the value of money in an increasingly cashless society.

Instead of holding physical money, Clever Kash has a screen on his belly which displays a child’s bank account balance by interacting with the ASB Mobile app.

Clever Kash was designed to teach kids about money and keep them motivated towards their saving goals, helping establish positive savings behaviour from an early age.

The device is a leading banking innovation designed by ASB and Saatchi & Saatchi New Zealand in collaboration with ASB’s Technology and Innovation Lab, Assembly, Kamahi Electronics, 4Design and Regen.
