Football is our national sport partnership in New Zealand. ASB’s five-year partnership with New Zealand Football (NZF) transcends all levels of the game, from children having their first kicks at grassroots level, sponsorship of referees through to all elite competitions across New Zealand.

The elite level competitions supported by ASB include:

• The ASB Premiership (formerly the National League)
• ASB Chatham Cup
• ASB National Women's League
• ASB Women's Knockout Cup
• ASB National Youth League

While we are very excited to be part of these national competitions, at ASB we like to help create futures and the development of talented young players and future stars of the game will be a priority through:

• ASB’s Football Festivals
• Holiday Programmes
• Drop in Centres
• After School Programmes

And, in 2011 alongside three other partners ASB will support the development and delivery of NZF’s Small Whites programme which is estimated to reach 100,000 four to 11 year-olds and their parents across New Zealand.

It’s exciting to be involved at the heart of a sport that has meaning for many people in our communities with many of our staff and families involved in all levels of the game.
