Craig Marks

Rural Manager

Craig was raised In Canterbury where after leaving school in 1985 he had an extended period of tertiary study at Lincoln College/University and working on farms.  After graduating from Lincoln in 1995 with a Bachelor of Agricultural Commerce majoring in Farm Management and Rural Valuation, he commenced a career in rural Banking, and has worked as a Rural Manager in Southland, West Coast and Wellington (Head Office).  After a 3 year ‘sabbatical’ period, Craig joined the ASB Rural team in Southland in July 2022.

Craig is married with 2 adult daughters and a young granddaughter.  In his spare time he enjoys all aspects of his small-scale sheep farming operation and occasional cruises with his wife in one of their classic cars. Craig enjoys helping clients to better understand their financial and banking position, with a view to helping them achieve their financial and life ambitions.
