Why does my bank statement look different?
We have simplified the information displayed on bank statements to make them easier to read, by removing duplicate and inactive information. This reduces the number of pages we print, so it's also kinder to the environment.
The following sections have been removed from bank statements (paper and digital):
- Balance summary, usually displayed at the top of the statement. This information is still available within the transaction details section
- Balance of other accounts. Other account information is available via FastNet Classic Internet Banking, the ASB Mobile Banking app and/or via the other account paper statements
- List of paid automatic payments. This information is still available within the transaction details
Don’t forget that with FastNet Classic internet banking and the ASB Mobile Banking app, you can also access your account information in real time 24/7 so there is no need to wait for your printed statement to arrive in the post.
