What happens if the travel bubble is closed?
Last Updated: 21 Apr 2021
If a travel bubble is closed, paused, suspended or if any government directive interferes with your travel then your cover for COVID-19 related losses will be affected. You will not be covered for any travel interruption or cancellation costs or any additional expenses such as costs associated with any mandatory isolation, lock-down, or quarantine orders. Because travel interrupted by these causes is a possibility and will limit the insurance coverage available, we recommend that all travellers should ensure they have the financial means to cope with any additional costs they may be required to meet.
