If I’m in New Zealand and contract COVID-19 and can’t travel to a country within our travel bubble am I covered?
Last Updated: 23 Apr 2021
Subject to our standard policy terms and conditions, if you contract COVID-19 in New Zealand after you activate your cover but before you travel to a destination within any travel bubble approved by the New Zealand Government, we'll pay any travel interruption or cancellation costs if you need to alter your travel plans or cancel your trip as a result.
Once overseas, you will need to consider what happens if the travel bubble closes however.
