How do I get set up with Netcode?
Signing up for Netcode is easy. Simply call us on 0800 FASTNET (0800 327 863) and select option 2, or visit any ASB branch. If you are overseas you can call us on +64 9 306 3000. All you need is a New Zealand or International registered mobile phone number.
We’ll ask you some security questions to establish it is really you, but we’ll never ask you for your FastNet Classic password or your PIN number.
You can choose to receive Netcode in two ways.
- Netcode by text message: We’ll send your Netcodes to your mobile. Once your registration is complete you can start Netcode authenticated transactions straight away.
- Netcode on a token: we’ll post your token out to you. When it arrives, call 0800 FASTNET (0800 327 863) to activate it.
Please note: Netcode via SMS is free to use if you have a New Zealand mobile phone number, but please check with your provider in case there are charges to receive international text messages. Since we rely on international phone providers to send our Netcode SMS to international phone numbers, we cannot guarantee you’ll be able to receive Netcode SMS to your international phone number.
