ASB has been supporting tennis in New Zealand for more than 100 years. From club level right through to one of the country’s most important tournaments, we’re keeping our eye on the ball.

ASB Classic

The ASB Classic is part of the Women's Tennis Association's (WTA) tour and is played in the first week of January each year at the ASB Tennis Centre in Auckland.

Since it started in 1986, this tournament has gone from strength to strength, each year attracting some of the world's best players. Recent competitors include Jelena Jankovic, Daniela Hantuchova, Nadia Petrova, Anastasia Myskina and Vera Zvonereva.

The ASB Classic demonstrates ASB's commitment to tennis on a national basis.
