Preferences

What is the Preferences section?
‘Preferences’ is your site management page. This is where you can create, edit or delete preferences for your Profile, Dashboard, Code List, Forecast and Reports.

What can I do in the Preferences section?
Preferences allows you to:

  • Create, edit or delete your Profile
  • Edit your Dashboard settings
  • Delete a Code List
  • Delete your Forecast

How do I edit my Profile?
Go to Preferences. Click on Create, Edit or Delete Profile, this is where you can:

  • Create a new Profile
  • Edit or Delete an existing profile
  • Set an existing Profile as a default

Why can’t I delete a Profile?
If you have only one Profile left on Business Cash Plan you cannot delete this, but you can ‘Edit’ this profile by changing the name or selecting different accounts to include.

How do I edit my Dashboard?
Go to Preferences, click on Dashboard, this is where you can:

  • Set a default view period  (week, month, quarter)
  • Set default months
  • Set comparisons
  • Set trend line preferences

Go to Preferences, click on Delete Code List. You can choose the Profile the Code List sits under using the dropdown box. Click ‘Delete’.

Why can’t I delete a Code List?
If you’ve started using a Code List you cannot delete this. This protects users from accidentally deleting a list.

How do I delete a Code List I’ve started using?
If you’ve already started coding, you cannot delete your list. If you want to use a different list, you’ll need to delete your Profile and then create a new Profile with a new code list.

Go to Preferences, click on Delete Forecast. You can choose the Profile that the Forecast sits under using the dropdown box. Click ‘Delete’.

How do I edit my Reporting?
Go to Preferences, click on Reporting. Set your reporting preferences and click ‘Save’.

I was on another page and chose to edit my Profile, I’ve now landed on the Preferences page – how do I get back to where I was?
You can either use the left navigation menu to keep take you back to the page you were on, or use the ‘back’ arrow at the top of your internet browser bar.
