Statement Stopper - Credit Card Statements
Customers who are an individual credit card account holder or are a Principal Account Owner with additional card holders can now choose to suppress their paper credit card statements in favour of an online version on FastNet Classic (FNC). Customers can also choose to set up an alert advising them when their credit statement is available to view in FNC. Customers can choose to be alerted by either a text message or email.
So in summary, you are now able to:
- View current and past credit card statements from 1 January 2011
- Download credit card statements as a PDF
- Suppress a credit card statement
- Set up a text or email notification to notify you when your PDF statements is ready to view in FastNet Classic
However, at this stage joint credit card holders and business credit card holders are not able to suppress paper statements. This is an enhancement we are looking to make in the future.
How do I suppress my paper credit card statements?
Log into FastNet Classic, go to ‘Statement Stopper’ under the ‘Accounts’ section and check the ‘Online Statement’ box next to the credit card account.

How can alerts be set up?
If a Credit Card statement is stopped a first time, a notification banner that redirects you to the ‘Notification Settings’ page is displayed. If you already have notifications set up you will get a link where you can add or edit notifications.
If you want to be alerted when a new PDF Credit Card statement is ready to view online you need to set up Email or TXT notifications via the ‘Notification Settings’ page. This can be accessed via the menu item or from the links listed previously.
The following is the light box that is displayed when a TXT notification is set up:
PDF versions of the credit card statements can be viewed via the document centre menu option:
