How to choose the ASB KiwiSaver Scheme

If you'd like to choose the ASB KiwiSaver Scheme as your Employer's Chosen Scheme, all you need to do is download and complete the Employer's Chosen Scheme Agreement and Employer Information Form and return them to us to the FreePost address below.

More than one IRD number for your payroll?

If you have more than one IRD number for your payroll, you will need to complete an Agreement and Form for each entity that you wish to choose the ASB KiwiSaver Scheme for.

What we'll do once we receive your Agreement

• We will advise Inland Revenue that you have selected the ASB KiwiSaver Scheme as your Employer's Chosen Scheme. You don't need to do anything.
• Inland Revenue will notify you when they have recorded the ASB KiwiSaver Scheme as your Employer's Chosen Scheme. Please note this process can take up to four weeks.
• Then we'll provide you with a supply of ASB KiwiSaver Scheme Investment Statements.

What you need to do

• Once you have received your supply of ASB KiwiSaver Scheme Investment Statements you need to hand one out whenever you give an employee the Inland Revenue KiwiSaver Employee Guide, along with a simple statement advising that if they do not select their own KiwiSaver scheme they will be allocated to the ASB KiwiSaver Scheme (we will supply you with a draft statement to assist you with this).
• If you need further ASB KiwiSaver Scheme Investment Statements at any time, simply call or email us and we will send them to you.
