Hi, over last three weeks have been having issues coding. The following message appears: An error has occured while coding this transaction. Please try again later. Thinking is was the browser I've changed b/w chrome, safari, icabmobile (on iPad) but to no avail. really annoying me as makes the whole process pointless. Note working on Mac OSX

It's a great tool, however I would like to be able to use it to send direct to my accountant for GST calendar periods. This isn't about the GST component that everyone else is talking about, but about being able to email him my Income vs Expenditure 'view' for a 6 month period. I can't see a way to do this, and exporting to a CSV file looks unusable when you open it. Perhaps there's a feature I haven't seen? I don't want to have to manually repeat it all in Excel............

Hello Thank you for your feedback, we will take a look into this. However just to confirm, the Business Cash Plan takes the data and puts it into a spreadsheet as follows: Date / Credit / Debit / Payeename / Description / CaetgoryCode / CategoryName You should then be able to export this CSV file and send through to your accountant. We will follow up and check this is all correct. If you are still having issues, please call the contact centre on 0800 803 804 to help assist you with this. Kind regards.

Thank you for the feedback Alastair, GST reports are not currently available in BCP but they are something we would definitely like to incorporate into the service and we’ll look to add this when we scope our next round of enhancements.

Basically good but when I only have 3 credits payments a year, I have ended up with credit payments every month. Where do these figures come from? When trying to do a forecast these figures completely upset the calculation as even in forecast months I can not remove the figures in the credit and debit boxes. I have rung the help centre and all they do is read off what I can read in the help boxes. If I can not produce a forecast budget in 2 weeks for my bank manager he will get a earful on how poor the cashplan is.

I am loving the Business Cash Plan - however a couple of things would be good to improve. When coding I have needed to add a new code which is easy to do but then when I switch back to coding I need to re-choose the date range - would be good for the original range to stay. Would also like to be able to identify GST transactions and get a report out for GST return. Reports - would be useful to choose a range e.g. quarterly or six-monthly.

Thank you for your feedback Belinda. We are committed to enhancing and extending the Business Cash Plan area of the site, driven by what our customers (like you) want and culminating in a full suite of online business tools. We have included 'adding a GST function' and ‘select date range’ on the list of new features to consider. Please let us know if you think of anything else you'd like to see in Business Cash Plan. The product would be more useful if I could (1) drill down on totals to see what they are made up of (rather than having to go back to original coding and (2) compare actuals against a budget I may set up

arrrrrhhhh.... once we roll over to the new financial year, we have lost all 08-09 data, thus the reports don't really show much information as there is only 1 complete year.ie: we only have last 366 days now. Data needs to be keep for longer, we cant compare 08-09 with 09-10 in a full year as it has been removed. need to remove the "-" negative figures from the reports also.

Bloody great!!, heaps of potential for more features also, would like to see drilling in on codes to filter what transactions are here. Also maybe in the future to have Invoicing like xero :-). would be great to have everything within our own bank, have also advised our accountant and they totally agree with what you are doing here, especially for a home business like ourselves. Any planned features for this?

I am not feeling too great about it at the moment since i haven't even got past first base! The system had seemingly accepted the preview of my coding list but when i went to save it, i was booted out with the message that the system was unavailabe and had "timed" out. When i logged back in the only codes i have are 1 x income code and no expenses so it appears i have to now manually enter all my codes - is this correct? It better not be, as i have spent a great deal of effort getting the coding structure right!

So far looks excellent would be great if you could flag income / expense as having GST component then the system could calculate that for you or give you the ability to enter it manually if not a straight sum off the transaction total. Then it could produce GST variace to help small business complete GST returns.

I've started using this for my personal finances because I like the coding and how you can tailor it to suit your needs. But it would be so good if you got that pie chart that you get in Track My Spending. I find this easier to relate to and easy to understand visually. Thanks.

It would be great if the reporting let you select your own date range so you can compare different periods of time other than a month or a fin year. This is presenting limitations and making it difficult to see performance at a glance of time periods that are relative to me.

It would be good if I could select multiple transactions for coding. Maybe have a select checkbox then a Fill Multiple Categories button that applies the selected catgory to all of the ticked transactions. Most of the credits on our account are sales and Service so I could quickly code all of them with this suggestion.

Thanks for your feedback Debbie. FastNet Classic customers receive Business Cash Plan free for 90-days from the time they sign-up. After 90 days it will cost $5 a month to continue using the tool. If you're a FastNet Business customer there is no charge to use Business Cash Plan as this is already included in the monthly fee. At present we haven't had any heard of any problems with importing code list directly from MYOB, so let us know how you go!
