How to apply
New to ASB?
To apply for an ASB Headstart account simply visit your nearest branch. To speed up the process, you can download an application form beforehand.
When you apply, you will need to:
- Complete an application form; and
- If you or your child are new ASB customers please bring along two forms of identification for yourself and one for your child.
Existing ASB Customer?
When you apply, you will need to:
- Complete an application form; and
- If your child is a new ASB customer please bring along two forms of identification for yourself and one for your child.

Headstart is for customers 18 years and under. Base and transaction fees are exempt up to $20.00 per month. Service charges apply. Other account fees may apply.
